Cookie Notice
What this site stores on your device, which technologies it uses or does not use, and how we would ask for your consent if that ever changed.

1. The short version
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookie, reads and writes nothing in your browser and cannot follow you to another site — so there is nothing to ask you to accept and no banner to click away.
If that is all you wanted to know, you can stop here. The rest of this page explains the detail, names the one measurement service we use, and what would change if we ever added something that does need your consent.
3. What we use on this site
Nothing that identifies you. The wall is a static site: the pages are built once and served as files, so there is no session to keep, no login to remember and no preferences to store.
- No cookies — first-party or third-party — are set when you browse this site.
- No local storage, session storage or IndexedDB entries are created by the site.
- One measurement service, and no identifiers. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views and records page-speed timings. It cannot recognise you on a later visit or on another site: there is no cookie, no identifier handed back to us, and no profile built up over time.
- No visitor counters of our own, no heat-maps and no session recording — we do not record what you type, where you move the pointer or how you scroll.
- No advertising or remarketing pixels, no conversion tracking and no social media plug-ins.
- No third-party embeds — no embedded videos, maps, chat widgets or comment systems that would receive your IP address. The analytics beacon described below is the only resource loaded from another domain.
- No cross-site tracking or device fingerprinting.
- Fonts are served from our own domain, so loading this page does not call out to a font or asset CDN.
The only technical records that exist are the hosting provider’s short-lived server logs, which are described in the Privacy Policy. Those are logs on our server, not files on your device, and they are not used to build a profile of you.
5. The one measurement service: Cloudflare Web Analytics
We would rather know how many people visit the wall than guess, so one cookieless measurement service runs on every page. It is provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, which processes the measurements on our behalf as our service provider and under its data-processing terms.
What it records for each page view:
- the path of the page (any query string is dropped), our hostname, and the page that referred you to us;
- coarse technical detail a request carries anyway: your country, device type, browser and operating system;
- page-speed timings, such as how quickly the page drew and settled.
What it does not do: no cookie is set or read, nothing is written to local storage, session storage or IndexedDB, nothing is read back from them, and there is no fingerprinting. Cloudflare states that its Web Analytics does not use client-side state such as cookies or localStorage to collect usage metrics, that it does not fingerprint visitors, and that it does not track anyone across the sites that use it. The numbers we read are aggregate figures — counts of page views by page, day, country and device — not a record of you.
Cloudflare keeps the raw measurements for 7 days and then aggregates them down to roughly a tenth of the original volume for long-term storage; the dashboard shows us the previous six months. The aggregate we look at contains no identifiers, and no part of it is used for advertising, remarketing or profiling.
The script itself is a small beacon loaded from static.cloudflareinsights.com. It is the only third-party resource this site loads. Because it stores nothing on your device and identifies nobody, there is no banner to accept — but if you block it, with a content blocker, a privacy extension or a network-level filter, you lose nothing: the pages work exactly the same, and only the measurement stops. We serve no fallback that works around a block.
6. How to control cookies in your browser
You are in control of every cookie any website sets, and you can review, delete or block them in your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies, and “See all site data and permissions”.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data, and “Block All Cookies”.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data.
You can block cookies entirely without losing anything here: this site needs none to work. If you use a mobile browser, its own privacy settings may also offer a “do not track” or private mode.
7. Changes to this notice
We date this notice whenever it changes, and we keep the superseded versions. If we ever introduce something that does need your consent, we will ask for it before it loads — not afterwards — and we will say so clearly here.
